Who we are

The La Palma Christian School is a school for students from preschool through 9th Grade. Students are taught general core subjects such as math and science, as well as classes in english and bible. Additionally, they are offered extra-curricular opportunities in band, robotics, sports teams, and more. They are given the opportunity of a better future through education, and more importantly, the hope of an eternal home in Heaven.

Our school has been open since 2007, and now currently has more than 200 students enrolled. The sponsorship program allows students to have this education opportunity through the generosity of scholarship sponsors. For $50 a month, full tuition is provided for a student. If desired by the sponsor, a specific child can be chosen to receive information and updates about in order to foster a connection.

Our history

In 2006, the elders of the Monett Church of Christ saw a deserate need for an established Christian school in La Palma, El Salvador. Many members of the church in La Palma had children who were not enrolled in school because they could not afford the tuition. With God’s help and provision, the La Palma Christian School opened in February of 2007.

Since the schools’ opening, the support of the school has expanded past Monett Church of Christ alone. Churches and individuals from many states across the United States now contribute financially to the school, staff, and students. Additionally every June, a team travels to La Palma for an annual mission trip. If you would like to learn more or are interested in joining the team on our next mission, please visit the Missions page by clicking the button below.

We’re planning to expand!

Through continued community support and God’s goodness, we have outgrown our current building! We are planning to buy land and build a new building in La Palma to accommodate our growing student numbers. If this is a cause you feel called to support, we welcome any donations toward the new building, or general school operations.
